Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information used to process website requests, payments, previews, and delivery.
Information collected
When a customer submits a website request or Project Setup, we may collect the customer name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, selected template and package, project notes, supplied website content, selected colors, uploaded logo or hero image, and project status information. Uploaded project assets are stored with the customer website files so they can be used to generate and deliver the requested site.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are entered into Stripe’s checkout and are not stored in the Site Market project files. We may store payment status, Stripe transaction or session identifiers, and limited payment-related metadata needed to match a payment to an order.
Email notifications
Transactional project emails may be sent through Resend, including request confirmations, preview notifications, payment confirmations, change requests, approvals, and delivery notices.
How information is used
- To create and customize the requested website.
- To contact the customer about the project.
- To generate private preview and review links.
- To process and reconcile payments.
- To provide hosting or delivery when requested.
- To prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service.
Aggregate sales analytics
We may count aggregate service events such as opening the order page, creating a request, continuing to checkout, confirming payment, completing Project Setup, generating a preview, reviewing a preview, approving a project, and publishing a managed site. These funnel counters are stored as aggregate daily totals and do not add customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, business addresses, or uploaded media to the analytics record.
Sharing
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the project, such as payment, email, hosting, infrastructure, or domain providers, or when disclosure is legally required. Customer information is not sold to advertisers.
Retention
Order and project records may be kept for operational, security, accounting, support, and legal purposes. Data no longer needed for those purposes may be deleted or anonymized.
Private review links
Project review links contain a private token. Customers should avoid posting these links publicly because anyone who has the link may be able to view the associated project status or preview.
